Are we trading joy for mud pies?

Philippians 3:15-21

Philippians 3:15-16
Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things.
If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you.
But we must hold on to the progress we have already made.

We are all living in Philippians v21?
For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying to is even better.
All the others care only for themselves and not for what matters to Jesus Christ.

We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.
