The Messiah, the King?
-Who was the birth announced to?
-Where was Jesus born?
-Where did he reside?
-Who was he born to?
Emmanuel; God is with them!!

God with us?
-Why were Mary and Joseph still in Bethlehem?
-All boys 2 years and younger killed?
-Leaving in the middle of the night for Egypt?
-Returning to Nazareth, not home?
What does Jesus’ kingdom look like?
-John 18:36-38a
Jesus didn’t home to eliminate the darkness; he came to walk with us through it
Jesus didn’t come to eliminate the darkness; yet…
Emmanuel; is God still with us?
-John 14:15-17; John 16:7-11
God is with us
-God still walks with us
-God desires a relationship with us we walk through this world
-God may release you from your burdens, but He does walk with you through them
-God wants to reveal Himself to us and to others through us
Emmanuel is hope
-Isiah’s prophecy to Jesus birth likely spanned 700 years
-Jesus’ birth to today 2000 years
-Today to the eternal kingdom is??
