Welcome to Mercersburg Mennonite Church! My wife, Glenda, and I have been married since 1988 and we have two children.
I grew up in West Virginia and moved to Clear Spring, Maryland in the mid 90’s. With moving to the Clear Spring area, we were in search for a church that was closer to our home which brought us to Mercersburg Mennonite Church (MMC), and in 1998, we started attending MMC regularly. Prior to attending MMC, I sensed the Lord directing me to have a part in church leadership which encouraged me to attend Rosedale Bible College from 1997 to graduation in 2000. That same year I was nominated to serve as an Elder for the congregation at MMC. Soon after that, in 2001, I was ordained as Assistant Pastor to serve alongside Pastor Allen Eshelman who was Lead Pastor at that time. In 2015, I started serving in the role as Lead Pastor of Mercersburg Mennonite Church.
I have a passion to share the truth of God’s love through Jesus Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives, transforming us into the likeness of Christ. I enjoy walking with people through the journey of reconciliation with God and others. A few of my hobbies would be to spend time with family and friends, enjoy a campfire in the backyard, and spend time fishing. I also enjoy watching sports, mainly hockey and football.
Thank you for visiting our website. Faith is a journey. We hope and pray that you find our website helpful as you look at our church to help you in this journey as you continue to grow in your relationship with God.
